Dr. Jebamalai Vinanchiarachi

Dr. Jebamalai Vinanchiarachi is an expert in sustainable development, with over 30 years of experience in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Vienna, Austria, where he served in various capacities and eventually retired as the principal advisor to the Director General of UNIDO. He is a globally renowned expert on innovation systems, good governance, and related norms governing economic efficiency, global competitiveness and ecological compliance.

Dr. Vinanchiarachi has authored several journal articles, books and reports. He currently works on publications related to the rapidly changing facets of the new industrial revolution, in co-authorship with a few experts and recently coined the syllabus for a new subject called “Business Futurology” for Management students.

He has received numerous awards at the international level for both his professional accomplishments and personal qualities. In January 2012 this list was further broadened when he received recognition as the ‘Outstanding Non-Resident Indian contribution on an International level’ from the Global Indian Association. He is currently pursuing a busy professional life, engaging in consultancy work and guest seminars around the world and maintains his presence in Europe and Asia.
